Open Leadership Free Meeting With Charlene Li Giveaway Official Rules

1. How to enter. Enter by completing the online entry form at http://bit.ly/openleadershipgiveaway. The Sweeptakes runs through 11:59 p.m. PDT, August 1, 2010. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PDT on August 1, 2010. One entry is allowed per person (with a valid e-mail address) regardless of entry method used, and any subsequent entries will not be eligible. Entries which are late, lost, stolen, mutilated, tampered with, illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, inaccurate, postage due, forged, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified.

NOTE: Internet entry must be made by the entrant, only at the Entry Site. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other web site or e-mail address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.

2. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Open to legal residents of the US only, who are at least 18 years of age as of June 26, 2010. Void wherever prohibited by federal, state, or local laws.

3. Prizes. Five winners will receive a one hour meeting with Charlene Li (in person in the Bay Area or wherever Charlene is traveling already, or over the phone). The meetings must be scheduled by August 31, 2010 and completed by December, 31, 2010. After those dates, the prizes will be forfeited. They will be scheduled according to Charlene’s availability and will not include additional travel on Charlene Li’s part. All Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash value. Certain restrictions apply.

4. Selection. Winners will be chosen on or about August 2, 2010, in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail.  In the event the potential winners do not qualify or are not willing to accept the prize, there will be an alternate winner drawing from among eligible entries. If the potential prize winner cannot be reached within five (5) business days (i.e. Monday thru Friday excluding any United States or State of California holidays), another eligible entry will be drawn and another potential prize winner will be notified. Subsequent eligible entries will be drawn as provided for above until an eligible prize winner is reached and such eligible prize winner has submitted and returned all necessary documents as provided for herein. Non-winning entries will not be notified. Return of any Prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.

5. Agreement. Winners will be required to sign and return an agreement and release form within 14 days of notification or the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. By participating in the Giveaway, entrant agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and all decisions of Charlene Li; and (ii) to hold Charlene Li and Altimeter Group, LLC harmless from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury, and/or death, arising out of the Winner’s participation in the Sweepstakes, and acceptance and/or use or misuse of the Prize in connection with the Sweepstakes.

6. Errors. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or garbled entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any: (a) telephone, computer, or network malfunction or error; (b) communication disruption or other forces beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, including disruption related to Internet traffic, virus, bug, or non-authorized intervention; or (c) damage caused by computer virus or otherwise resulting to any computer from entrant’s access of the Sweepstakes Web site. If such malfunction, error, disruption, or damage occurs or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper play of the Giveaway, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes by posting a notice. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the end date, Sponsor will determine the winner from all eligible entries received as of the termination date.

7. Permissions. Entering the Sweepstakes constitutes permission by Charlene Li to use Winner’s name and biographical information without further compensation for promotional or publicity purposes, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the property of Charlene Li and Altimeter Group and will not be acknowledged or returned. The information from the entries will not be used for any purpose other than the execution of the Giveaway unless the Entrant has opted-in to receive information from Charlene Li and Altimeter Group. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person they believe has violated these Official Rules.

8. Winners. For the name of the Winners, send a separate email to giveaway@charleneli.com. All requests must be received by July 31, 2010.

9. Cancellation. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper running of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, the Sponsor reserves the right, at her sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsors will conduct a random drawing to award all prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site.
