Leadership is a Mindset

Let’s talk about leadership in the midst of disruption.

Let’s get clear on what leadership is, first of all. It’s a mindset. It’s not a title. Leadership doesn’t come when somebody bestows that title on you.

Leadership happens when you see a change that needs to happen, and you step into that role because you see yourself as a person who can make that happen, and you believe that people would follow you to make that change come to life.

When you are in that disruptive time, leadership is even more important because disruption is hard. It’s a long journey, and you need clarity on why we are doing this.

What’s the vision of what we can achieve together? In these disruptive times, you have to understand about leadership is that you have to give up control in order to be in command.
